Brethren of Tithebarn Lodge No 8446, who meet at the Masonic Hall in Cleveleys, enjoyed a spectacular evening at the Sheraton Hotel in Blackpool. The hotel situated on the Blackpool Promenade, with a view of the famous Blackpool illuminations complete with amazing views over the seafront.

Tithebarn Lodge celebrated their Masonic year in true style with a lively Masquerade Ball. The event was wonderfully well attended, with everyone enthusiastically joining in the spirit of the occasion and showing off an array of impressive masks, making the game of ‘guess who’ all part of the fun!
The evening was superbly organised by Ken Greenwood and his partner Sarah Spencer, whose dedication and attention to detail ensured everything ran seamlessly from start to finish. Ken and Sarah were supported by a team of Tithebarn Lodge members who assisted with planning, decorations, raffle prizes and coordination on the night. Their teamwork and enthusiasm created the perfect atmosphere for an unforgettable celebration.
The Sheraton Hotel, a favourite venue for Masonic events, once again provided outstanding service and a delicious feast that everyone thoroughly enjoyed. Entertainment was supplied by Krazy Karl, who kept the dance floor alive well into the early hours.
In true Masonic tradition, the evening wasn’t just about enjoyment, it was also about giving back. Through raffles and other fundraising activities, several £100 were raised in support of both Masonic and non-Masonic charities. These contributions will go toward helping worthy causes, reflecting the lodge’s ongoing commitment to compassion, generosity and service to others.
Everybody had a great evening with wonderful company and all said they were looking forward to holding a Masquerade Ball again next year. At the end of the night, the happy guests braved the Blackpool autumn winds whilst waiting for their taxi’s home, full of the knowledge that they had enjoyed themselves and raised money for many deserving causes.
