WM Terry Nealons was born in Barrow-in-Furness and went to Alfred Barrow Secondary School for Boys. Terry was always getting into mischief as much as possible, spending a lot of time on the naughty step! After leaving school, Terry worked at Vickers Shipyard for a few years and thereafter at Glaxo where he took to the roads having passed his HGV test.
Terry has been married to his second wife Sandra for 33years. Together they became pub managers for 22 years and loved every minute of the job.
Terry joined the Freemasons after speaking to one of his customers at The George in Torrisholme 24 years ago. This was David Tattersall, who became his closest friend. On retirement from pub management in 2006, Terry and Sandra moved to Morecambe where he was happy to be a kept man refurbishing their new home until Sanda made him get a paying job. Together they have three boys and lots of wonderful memories.
Terry joined Duke of Lancaster Lodge No 1353 in 2000, later transferring to Runic Lodge. Terry was WM of Runic Lodge in 2018 and is looking forward to the year ahead.
