Based in central Southport, ‘The Soup Kitchen’ provides a welcoming place for those in need within Southport area. Having been established for over 20 years and run entirely by a team of dedicated volunteers, they offer support to the local community by providing hot meals and drinks, as well as food parcels and resources including toiletries and other daily essentials.

Craig Clifford, the WM of Starkie Lodge No 1070, who meet at the Masonic Hall in Southport, was delighted to visit the kitchen and present them with a cheque for £250 from members of the lodge. He was accompanied by his son and members of the Southport Group.
The donation was thankfully received and prompted a kind response. “A huge thank you to the members of Starkie Lodge in Southport who visited Southport Soup Kitchen to present our chairwoman, Marie, with a cheque for £250 towards our hot meal takeaway service. We are incredibly grateful for their support.”
