Several brethren from Antient Briton Lodge No 1675, in the Liverpool Group, gathered at the home of Alan Bamber to enjoy and join with him in the celebration of his magnificent achievement of his 70th Craft anniversary. In the comfort of his home,

During the meeting, Alan was able to recall and share with those brothers present the very many happy memories from his 70 years involved in Freemasonry being a member of Antient Briton Lodge.
He expressed how happy he was to celebrate his special anniversary amongst so many friends recalling some great social nights over the years. Roy Ashley, the group representative, presented the certificate to Alan, thanking him for his devoted and committed service to Freemasonry in general and to Antient Briton Lodge in particular, conveying the very best wishes of the brethren and most particularly the Provincial Grand Master Mark Matthews.
Roy told Alan: “That it was an honour to present such an award to someone with his Masonic history and commitment to Masonry over his 70 years and still being in the same lodge into which he was initiated.”
Alan was delighted to receive the certificate and said he was honoured and overjoyed to receive his friends and brethren in his home, as he cannot make it to meetings these days.
A great day for Alan to add to the long list of happy memories, on such a momentous occasion.
