On Remembrance Sunday, members of the Chorley and Leyland group of Freemasons came together to honour the memory of those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

Wreaths were respectfully laid at memorials across the group area in Westhoughton, Horwich, Chorley, Leyland and Penwortham, ensuring that our gratitude was felt throughout the community.
This solemn act of remembrance reflects the enduring values of service, respect and unity that Freemasonry holds dearly. Each wreath symbolised not only remembrance but also a commitment to keeping alive the legacy of courage and sacrifice.
A massive thank you goes to the dedicated volunteers who represented the group with dignity and pride. Antony Price from Blainscough Lodge No 8532, Brian Goth and Darren Holmes from Rivington lodge No 8013 and Graham Miller and Eric Thursden from Euxton lodge No 7192.
Their efforts ensured that the Chorley and Leyland Freemasons played a meaningful role in this important day of reflection. “We will remember them.”
