The three principals remained in post for a second year at Heysham Chapter No 4108. Malcolm Hayward was proclaimed as first principal, Peter Tooze-Froggatt as second principal and Michael Church-Taylor as third principal.
Provincial Grand Scribe Nehemiah John Topping was the representative of Provincial Grand Superintendent Mark Matthews. John was accompanied by grand officers Philip Gardner and Neil McGill, Provincial Grand Standard Bearer Dave Berrington and Chairman of the Lancaster and District Group Chris Larder.
The ceremony was conducted by chapter director of ceremonies Trevor Duncan who proclaimed the principals.
There were no robe addresses. On completion of the installation ceremony first principal Malcolm Hayward appointed and invested his officers for the year.
John Topping addressed the companions of Heysham Chapter and brought greetings from Provincial Grand Superintendent Mark Matthews. He congratulated the three principals and all those who had taken part in the ceremony. John was presented with donations in the sum of £371 for Masonic and non-Masonic charities.
A total of 20 companions dined at the festive board. The toast to the three principals was given by immediate past first principal Alan Finney.
