Liverpool Masonic Hall Hope Street was the venue for the proclamation of Paul Green back into the chair of Aigburth Lodge No 4103. The ceremony and proceedings for the Installation and festive board were under the control of Eric Pool, who did an excellent job of standing in for the lodge DC.

There were 21 brethren in attendance at the installation and festive board. The lodge was opened through the first degree to the third degree. The lodge minutes were dealt with, and Assistant Provincial Grand Master John James, accompanied by Dave Johnson the Liverpool Group Chairman, were admitted. Salutations were given to grand officers and Provincial grand officers.
There then followed a sincere ceremony of proclamation with Paul remaining as WM of Aigburth Lodge. Paul had the great pleasure of installing his officers for the forthcoming year, with an address to the brethren of the lodge being given by John James. John then presented a Grand Lodge Certificate, to Myrfran Anduyan, much to Myrfran’s delight.
The WM having been informed that the ceremony of his installation had been completed, saw John James rising to bring the congratulations on behalf of the Provincial Grand Master Mark Matthews wishing him a happy and successful year.
Paul then took great pleasure in presenting the lodge donations to John totalling £400. £100 to Friends of Tithebarn, £100 to Zoe’s place. £100 Liverpool Masonic Hall Building Fund and £100 to West Lancashire Freemasons’ Charity. John thanked Paul and the brethren of the lodge for their generous donations.
Following the ceremony, the brethren retired for a magnificent festive board, consisting of soup, roast chicken and vegetables, Eton mess, tea and coffee, accompanied by wines. In the response to the toast to his health, John James thanked the brethren for their kind words, having enjoyed a wonderful proclamation. John brought communications from Mark Matthews and all praised the ongoing work of Dave Johnson, the Liverpool Group Chairman. The proceedings were brought to an ending with the tyler’s toast.
