Companions of he chapter were honoured by the presence of the Deputy Grand Superintendent David Barr and David Johnson, the Liverpool Group Chairman, Neil Francis vice chairman and secretary Geoff Green.

The chapter was opened in due form and following the brief chapter business, Robb Fitzsimmons, Provincial Deputy Grand Director Ceremonies announced the presence of David Barr, David Johnson and acting Provincial grand officer, Provincial Grand Standard Bearer Gordon McConnell. The companions entered the temple and were escorted to their seats.
The first principal, John McKenna, the second principal, Steve Linton and the third principal, Peter Darlington warmly greeted David, and John offered him his sceptre, which after thanking him, it was promptly returned to him to conduct the installation ceremony.
The ceremony was conducted with great solemnity and the new principals were installed for the first time in their respective roles, Steve Linton as first principal, Peter Darlington as second principal and Ray Marshall as the third principal. The scripture passages for the first principal were read by David Barr, for the second principal by David Johnson and for the third principal by Neil Francis.
The robe addresses were particularly impressive, and they were conducted respectively by John for the first principal, Steve for the second principal and Brian Jackson for the third principal. David Barr gave a perfect address to the companions of the chapter and after the appointment of the officers of the chapter, he gave the three principals the good wishes of the Grand Superintendent Mark Matthews.
In return, the three principals gave a donation of £250 to the North Liverpool United Inclusion, which is a community focussed football club which offers football opportunities to the underrepresented. David thanked the companions of the chapter for their generous donation.
The chapter director of ceremonies, Phil Patullo orchestrated the evening with great elan, and the chapter was closed in perfect harmony and peace. The festive board was a most amicable occasion with good food, good wine and the raffle raised £120 for Masonic and non-Masonic charities.
