Brethren of the Trafford Group Light Blues Club embarked on an unforgettable journey to Llandudno, that was filled with camaraderie, exploration and culinary delights. Led by the knowledgeable David Davies, the club members were treated to an insightful tour of the historic Llandudno Masonic Hall. They delved into its rich heritage and significance within the Masonic community. Adam Walker presented David with a bottle of red wine, as a thank you from the light blues.
Following the enlightening tour, the light blues were eager to explore the charms of Llandudno further. The club ventured into the heart of the town and down the famous pier, taking in its picturesque sights and immersing themselves in its vibrant atmosphere. A highlight of the trip was the exhilarating journey to the summit of the Great Orme, offering breath-taking views of the surrounding landscape.
Later in the day, the group indulged in a delectable meal at the renowned Blue Elephant Indian Restaurant, savouring the flavours of authentic Indian cuisine amidst warm conversations and laughter. Reflecting on their experience, all members expressed their delight and satisfaction, with one of the newer members expressing his heartfelt gratitude for the unparalleled camaraderie he experienced. He remarked, “I’ve never experienced such camaraderie before. It truly felt like being with my best friends, which of course, I was.”
The Trafford Group Light Blues Club extends their gratitude to David Davies, a shining example for the club of both a gentleman and a Freemason, for his exceptional guidance and hospitality, as well as to the warm hospitality of Llandudno and its residents.
The club members, now safely back home from their trip to Llandudno, is fully focusing on renovating the basement of the 1881 Building, at Urmston Masonic Hall, into a fully functional clubhouse. They also have more excursions planned for later in the year.
