Members and guests of Travelers Chapter No 4679 assembled at Warrington Masonic Hall to celebrate an exceptional milestone, 50 years of Royal Arch Freemasonry for Eric Kehoe.

Although Eric was unable to attend in person due to being an inpatient at Warrington General Hospital, the chapter ensured he could still be part of the evening by arranging a live video link.
Following the opening of the chapter, the companions connected with Eric, who was able to see and hear all those present. John Selley, Assistant to the Provincial Grand Principals, then delivered an engaging and heartfelt account of Eric’s life.
John began by charting Eric’s professional achievements and his distinguished Masonic journey, with particular emphasis on his service within the Royal Arch. Eric contributed warmly to the occasion, sharing personal reflections and memories that enriched the celebration.
The Warrington Group Chairman John Tyrer, then presented virtually a commemorative certificate marking Eric’s 50 years in the Royal Arch. The certificate, issued by the Grand Superintendent of the Provincial Grand Chapter of West Lancashire Mark Matthews, will be personally delivered to Eric once he is discharged from hospital.
During the proceedings, Vic Charlesworth, Curator of the Warrington Museum of Freemasonry, received a cheque from Eric as a generous donation to support the museum’s ongoing work. Eric expressed his sincere gratitude to all the companions for creating a truly memorable and uplifting evening.
