A special night was held at Preston Masonic Hall for Carnarvon Chapter No 2376 as they welcomed non-Royal Arch Masons and esteemed guests for an informative meeting and festive board.

While the chapter meeting started, non-Royal Arch Masons were left in the very capable hands of Stewart Cranage, Provincial Grand Mentor, and Mike Silver, Vice Chairman of Chorley and Leyland Group, for a talk on the Royal Arch and they were encouraged to ask any questions.
In the chapter room, Carnarvon Chapter companions opened the convocation and welcomed Second Provincial Grand Principal Michael Threlfall, Assistant to the Provincial Grand Principals Paul Hesketh, Provincial Deputy Grand Director of Ceremonies David Boyes and other acting officers.
Companions of Carnarvon Chapter then declared the next three principals for their upcoming installation and invested companions who had not been collared yet. Before closing the convocation, Adam Dennett presented an explanation and history of the chapter apron, as derived from Solomon, which was well received and expertly delivered.

Following the closing, the companions stayed in their regalia and joined the non-Royal Arch Masons in another room, were an explanation of the officers and principals was given by Paul Hesketh.
Everyone then made their way downstairs to the festive board which was enjoyed by all, and after a few speeches and toasts the night ended with a possible four new Royal Arch members looking to join the chapter in the future.
