The Vice Chairman of the Liverpool Group, Bob Patterson, has set himself a walking challenge to raise money for Prostate Cancer Research. Bob has set a target of walking 56 miles during February 2025.

Although Bob has set a target of reaching £500, which has been achieved, he is still raising on behalf of the charity. In 13 days, he had reached over 50 miles, however Bob will continue to walk in all weathers each day.
Prostate cancer is the most diagnosed cancer in the UK, and over 11,500 men die from this disease each year because of it. Bob has witnessed Masonic and non-Masonic friends diagnosed with this disease and have needed to undergo treatment. Sadly, for one of them it was too late.
By raising funds and awareness everyone can help to fight this disease by taking the simple test and get early treatment if required. People affected by prostate cancer need breakthrough treatments, and research is the only way to turn this hope into reality.
Bob said: “Their vision is clear; a world where people are free from the impact of prostate cancer. I’m part of #TeamPCR because I share this vision. Will you help me support their research?” Please help Bob, and Prostate Cancer Research, by visiting his JustGiving page, click here.
