Ashmole Lodge No 5128 welcomed its third new member of the year, Jeffrey Kernot. The ceremony was conducted by the WM David Holmes, who skilfully guided the proceedings. Grand officer Andy Barton attended the initiation and commended the lodge officers for their outstanding performance.

Among those praised was James Cooper, who admirably fulfilled his role as junior deacon. Despite being a new dad, James confidently led Jeffrey around the room with zeal and delivered the working tools with enthusiasm. His dedication did not go unnoticed and was highlighted as a significant contribution to the evening’s success.
Adding to the memorable occasion, William Wainwright delivered an exceptional rendition of the charge to Jeffrey. His articulate and heartfelt delivery underscored the importance of the initiation ritual, providing a profound moment for all present.
Following the initiation ceremony, the festive board continued in a warm and light-hearted manner. The brethren and guests enjoyed lively conversations and camaraderie, reflecting the strong bonds within Ashmole Lodge.
