Silverdale Lodge support local amateur dramatics group

Immediately prior to a matinee performance at Carnforth High School on the final day of Stagestruck’s three-day production of ‘Children and IT’ Peter Mason and Tony Dickinson of Silverdale Lodge No 6926 presented a £1,000 cheque.

The cheque was presented to stage manager Simon Dickinson, Tony Dickinson’s son, in support of the local amateur dramatics group. Tony and Peter attended the performance and Peter said that the show was performed to a very high standard, as good as any professional outfit. The organisation is very professional and worthy of the lodge’s support.

Stagestruck is an all-inclusive amateur dramatics group based in Bolton-le-Sands. The group rehearses every Wednesday evening and accepts anyone from the age of six and upwards, no matter what their ability, experience or circumstances. No one is turned away, new members, current members and even old members all are welcome.
