The third degree in Freemasonry is certainly a big highlight in every brother’s Masonic journey and it was David Rostron’s turn to complete the next step in his journey and become a master Mason in the Craft.
David Rostron is a member of Astley and Ellesmere Lodge No 730 and it was the master of the lodge, John Rhodes, who had the pleasure of delivering the ceremony in full for David and raise him to the degree of a master Mason.
The meeting was attended by many of the lodge members, including many of the new joining members from Prospect Lodge No 7880, and all attending enjoyed an excellent ceremony by everyone who took part. The ceremony was followed by a joyous festive board with plenty of good conversation and hearty food.
Astley and Ellesmere Lodge is an active lodge in the Chorley and Leyland Group. If you would like to attend one of their future meetings, please contact the secretary John Lancaster via 730sec@jonmar13.plus.com
