To introduce the Royal Arch as the next step in Freemasonry to master Masons, Blackpool Chapter of Integrity No 5864 hosted a white table event to promote the Royal Arch. This white table event was open to all members of the Craft who had qualified as master Masons and who wanted to learn more about taking the next step into Royal Arch Freemasonry.
Lending their support to this event were the Deputy Grand Superintendent Chris Butterfield, Third Provincial Grand Principal David Barr, Assistant to the Three Grand Principals John Robbie Porter and Provincial Grand Mentor Stuart Cranage. They gave an open and informative talk in the lounge bar to the master Masons whilst Blackpool Chapter of Integrity companions held their regular convocation.
After the convocation had ended, the master Masons were invited into the chapter room to hear a presentation from grand officer David Harrison on taking the next step and an interesting explanation on why he joined, which was very well received.
In the response to the toast to his health at the festive board, Chris Butterfield thanked the companions of Blackpool Chapter of Integrity for hosting the event and to the scribe Ezra for the planning of the festive board as he had no idea who, or how many were going to attend, All the planning coalesced during the evening and the meeting was a great success.
The effort will be much appreciated by the Grand Superintendent Mark Matthews, who sadly could not attend the event. Hopefully, this event will realise its aim and attract more brethren to join the Royal Arch, to complete their Masonic journey and become companions of the Order. On behalf of the grand officers, Chris thanked everyone for their contribution to this very successful and enjoyable event.
